Legacy of Taste was created to protect the heritage of Chinese cooking and highlight the Chinese restaurants across the UK that herald the true art of Chinese cuisine.

2010
The third year of the competition featured a finalist in Edinburgh, one in Manchester and two in London.
Pearl Liang
Pearl Liang Chinese Oriental Restaurant is a stylish, cosmopolitan, restaurant serving high quality, authentic Chinese food.
The sophisticated modern decor interior is decorated with water features, bamboo and a full room-length painting of Chinese blossom branches, providing an elegant backdrop to creative interpretations of Chinese seafood and dim sum.

2009
Finalists came from Leeds, Manchester, Cardiff and London to compete at The Collection Bar and Restaurant in South Kensington on the 23rd of November.
Gourmet Garden
The Gourmet Garden offers high quality, authentic dishes from the exotic Far East at reasonable prices, in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
In 2007 it was the Gold Winner in the Visit London Awards (Best Restaurant Category) and although a relatively small restaurant it maintains a big following of loyal customers.

2008
The first year of the competition was held at The Deep Restaurant in Battersea on the 3rd of November and featured finalists from Manchester, Cardiff, Leeds, London, Edinburgh and Birmingham.
Yang Sing
The highly acclaimed Yang Sing sets the standard both within Manchester and beyond as a Cantonese restaurant of the highest quality.
A finalist in both 2008 and 2009, its unique charm and unequalled dedication to quality have earned the Yang Sing a reputation as being amongst the best Cantonese restaurants in Europe.
